Sertaconazole

This is an antifungal medication that belongs to the imidazole class.

Zinc Pyrithione

This is an anti-fungal and anti-dandruff agent.

Treatment of tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis (ringworm) caused by dermatophytes.

Treatment of seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) on the scalp.

Sertaconazole works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This disrupts the fungal cell membrane and leads to the death of the fungus. Zinc Pyrithione, on the other hand, acts as an anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal agent, inhibiting the growth of fungi and reducing inflammation.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).

Continue treatment for the full duration prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve before the end of the prescribed time.

Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medication.

Skin irritation, redness, itching, or burning.

Dryness or peeling of the skin.

Allergic reactions (rare).

Contact dermatitis (rare).

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it may increase the risk of side effects.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medication may not be suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
