Spironolactone

A potassium-sparing diuretic that blocks the action of aldosterone, a hormone that causes the body to retain sodium and water.

Torasemide

A loop diuretic that increases the excretion of sodium, water, and chloride by the kidneys.

Treatment of edema (swelling) associated with congestive heart failure.

Treatment of edema associated with liver cirrhosis.

Treatment of edema associated with nephrotic syndrome.

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), often in combination with other antihypertensive medications.

Torsemide 10mg And Spironolactone 50mg Tablets (Spironolactone + Torasemide) work synergistically to promote diuresis (increased urine production). Torasemide inhibits sodium and chloride reabsorption in the loop of Henle, leading to increased excretion of these electrolytes and water. Spironolactone blocks the action of aldosterone in the distal tubules and collecting ducts of the kidneys, further increasing sodium and water excretion while conserving potassium. This combined action leads to effective fluid removal and blood pressure reduction.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or tampered with.

Dosage is determined by a physician based on individual patient needs and response to therapy.

The medication is typically taken orally, once or twice daily.
