Clavulanic Acid

An inhibitor that prevents the breakdown of amoxicillin by certain bacteria, extending its effectiveness.

Treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis).

Treatment of skin and soft tissue infections.

Treatment of urinary tract infections.

Treatment of bone and joint infections.

Treatment of gynecological infections.

Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid protects amoxicillin from inactivation by beta-lactamases, enzymes produced by some bacteria that make them resistant to penicillin.

Store at room temperature (59-86°F or 15-30°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the medication in its original container.

Dosage varies depending on the infection, age, and weight of the patient. Always follow your doctor's prescription.

Take the medicine with a full glass of water.

Complete the entire course of antibiotics, even if symptoms improve.

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
