Yakrit 150mg Tab (Ursodeoxycholic Acid) works by altering the composition of bile, making it less saturated with cholesterol. This helps dissolve existing cholesterol gallstones and prevents the formation of new ones. In liver diseases like PBC and PSC, UDCA helps to reduce inflammation and protect liver cells.
