Carvil 6.25mg Tab (Carvedilol) is a non-selective beta-blocker and an alpha1-adrenergic blocking agent. It works by blocking the effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline on the heart and blood vessels, leading to reduced heart rate, blood pressure, and myocardial contractility. The alpha-blocking action further contributes to vasodilation, reducing peripheral resistance.
