Treatment of various bacterial infections, including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, intraabdominal infections, and meningitis.
Treatment of infections caused by susceptible Gramnegative bacteria.
Tafipime 2gm Injection (Cefepime) inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial cell lysis and death. It is effective against a broad spectrum of Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria.
Store at controlled room temperature 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Protect from light and moisture. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.
Dosage varies depending on the infection severity, patient's age, weight, and kidney function. Always follow your doctor's prescription.
Cefepime is typically administered intravenously or intramuscularly.
Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.

Cefepime may cause dizziness or drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medication affects you.
Consult your doctor before taking Cefepime if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
Dosage adjustments are needed for children; always follow your doctor's instructions.
Kidney function should be monitored, especially in patients with pre-existing kidney disease. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
Liver function should be monitored, especially in patients with pre-existing liver disease. Report any signs of liver problems (jaundice, dark urine, etc.) to your doctor immediately.
