About Xbaren 150mg Tab
Xbaren 150mg Tab (Oxcarbazepine) is an anticonvulsant medication used to treat partial and generalized tonic-clonic seizures. It works by stabilizing neuronal membranes. While generally safe and effective, it can cause side effects like dizziness and drowsiness. Always inform your doctor about other medications you are taking, any pre-existing medical conditions, and if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant. Follow your doctor's instructions precisely regarding dosage and administration. Report any unexpected side effects immediately.
Ingredients of Xbaren 150mg Tab

How Xbaren 150mg Tab Works

Xbaren 150mg Tab (Oxcarbazepine) inhibits voltage-gated sodium channels in the neuronal membranes, thus stabilizing neuronal membranes and reducing the excitability of neurons, thereby preventing seizure activity. It's metabolized to its active metabolite, 10,11-dihydro-10-hydroxycarbamazepine (MHD), which also contributes to its anticonvulsant effects.
